Responsibilities
- The Process Improvement Office (PIO) supports the Ministry of Health by streamlining processes and improving efficiencies in health systems. The PIO works collaboratively with the Department and Service Delivery Organizations as well as educational institutions and clinical experts to ensure healthcare resource needs and priority initiatives are supported.
- To be successful, the PIO requires proven project and healthcare leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions to drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, and provide centralized project functions.
Qualifications
- Valid Prince2 Project Management certification. (mandatory)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA). (nice to have)
- Master of Science degree in Integrated Management Systems (nice to have)
- 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager including scope management, assignment of resources and managing interdependencies and issues in delivering a combination of technology, business and process change, in a complex sector such as healthcare, financial services or other public sectors.
- 5 years’ experience implementing large transformational projects including organizational and service redesign projects.
- 5 years’ experience developing transition roadmaps including documented processes, roles and responsibilities, templates and tools, knowledge transfer and issue management.
