Our client is a well-established IT service provider, and they are seeking a Technical Director to oversee the projects with cloud and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidates should have a background working at IT service provider/consulting firm and strong experience in team leadership, senior stakeholder management (both internal and external), and relevant technical domain knowledge.

- Lead the teams (including Cloud Engineers. Cybersecurity Engineers and Pre-sales Consultants), to define and execute delivery plans for multiple large-scale projects, covering budget, timeline, and manpower management
- Proactively manage project and program P&L, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, identifying options and consequences to ensure successful delivery
- Collaborate with business development and account management teams to drive consulting capability and business development from pre-sales to project execution, fostering client relationships
- Represent the team in meetings and calls, building strong client relationships to understand needs and deliver innovative solutions
- Assign tasks and closely collaborate with IT team members for project success
- Maintain processes and deliverables to meet agreed quality standards
- Coach and share project management skills and industry best preactices with the team
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Business Adminstration, or related discipline
- Strong experience combined with project/program management, technical consulting/pre-sales, and team leadership (ideally with at least 10+ FTEs); IT consulting firm/solution provider/system integrator background is a must
- With a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects for clients preferably from the commercial and public sectors
- A good understanding of cloud or cybersecurity solutions (ideally both or at least either one of them) such as Azure, AWS, Palo Alto, Check Point or Fortinet, etc. is highly preferable; candidates equipped with other technical domains knowledge might also be considered
- Proficient in speaking both Cantonese and English and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in client-facing and stakeholder management including C-Suite
- Demonstrated consulting skills encompassing strategy, business cases, service/process design, and organizational change techniques
- Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, planning, and organizing skills
- PMP or cloud/cybersecurity certification is a plus
