We are seeking a strong and experienced Isolation Room Supervisor to work in a secondary setting based in Bradford. The role involves supervising students in isolation, ensuring they remain quiet and follow the rules, with minimal interaction required.
Requirements:
- Strong behaviour management skills-you must be able to handle difficult situations with confidence and authority
- Pastoral experience is essential, as you will play a key role in supporting the school's behavioural policies
- The ability to remain calm and collected in stressful situations
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the isolation room, ensuring a quiet and orderly environment
- Enforce behaviour policies and manage students who have been removed from their regular classes
- Maintain a professional distance while supervising, with limited interaction with the students
- Report any serious behavioural concerns or issues to senior staff
- Support the school's pastoral team by maintaining student well-being and promoting a positive school environment
