As Electrical Interface (‘Support’) Engineer, you will be involved in the engineering and realisation of our challenging projects in the field of power distribution in the data centre industry. Together with the project team, you take care of the technical solution. In this position, you will work for the Electrical Engineering team for data centres, consisting of around 20 engineers. Due to business growth, we are looking for an Electrical Interface Engineer who fits into this close-knit and driven team. The Electrical Engineering team is part of the "Distribution Systems Data Centers" department, which is responsible for realising multidisciplinary projects at home and abroad. The department consists of around 100 engineers.
The focus in this position is on the realisation of projects. Under the responsibility of a Lead Engineer, you will ensure the right technical output together with the System Engineers within the project team. The scope of the projects consists of the engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of power distribution systems such as medium- and low-voltage distributors, transformers, power distribution units, bus bar systems, digital protection, automation and monitoring systems and modular solutions such as E-Houses and Skids. Tasks within the position include:
- Provide technical support to the (Lead) Engineers within the project;
- Solving residual points and closing these administratively;
- Participating in the realisation of detailed designs in the field of low- and medium-voltage distribution systems;
- Preparing work packages for installation and commissioning;
- Independently working out technical issues;
- Compiling Operations & Maintenance manuals;
- Reviewing technical (factory) documentation;
- Drafting technical specifications and RFQs;
- Delivery of technical documentation to the end customer;
- Managing and updating technical project documentation;
- Compiling technical training courses;
- Drawing up test and inspection plans.
