Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test integrations between I-CARE and other systems
Set up new interfaces using Cerner Open Engine or other interface engines (including but not limited to HL7, EDI X12, XML messaging, FHIR)
Configure routing and interface mapping to ensure accurate data exchange
Facilitate user and end-user focus groups to define needs and gather reporting requirements
Create and document functional Business Requirements and Use Case Scenarios for reporting and custom CCL solutions
Collaborate with different teams throughout all development and testing efforts
Manage projects through the project management life cycle and handle change management processes
Qualifications
Experience with Cerner Millennium modules
Proficiency in designing and setting up new interfaces in Cerner Open Engine or other interface engines
Skilled in routing configuration and interface mapping
Background in OOP; C#/VB/ASP.NET development; CCL development; messaging protocols (i.e., MLLP, TCP/IP); and standard nomenclatures (i.e., SNOMED, LOINC, ICD10)
Experience working in healthcare settings
Proven ability to facilitate user and end-user focus groups for needs definition and requirement gathering
Strong experience in creating and documenting functional Business Requirements and Use Case Scenarios
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with different teams
Familiarity with project management life cycle and change management
