About the Role
As an Inclusive Support Mentor, you will work closely with students requiring tailored support, helping them navigate the curriculum and promoting positive behaviour in the classroom. Your Main Responsibilities:
- Personalised Student Support: Guide students with special educational needs, providing support that caters to their unique strengths and challenges.
- Engagement & Motivation: Work with students on individual and group activities that stimulate interest and encourage learning.
- Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with teachers and staff to help shape personalised learning experiences and communicate progress.
- Positive Classroom Presence: Support a calm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that promotes positivity and learning.
- Encourage Life Skills: Help students build social, emotional, and practical skills that foster independence and confidence.
