... They have a permanent opportunity for an experienced ILS Engineer to join their growing team in Adelaide, SA. Supporting the ILS Manager and Engineering Managers you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost effectiveness for the design and support of a system or capability by employing Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modelling and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) techniques.
Your new role:
As an ILS Engineer you will:
- Performing Supportability Analysis; including Reliability, Availability and Maintainability, Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis, LCC modelling, Level of Repair Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis and Sparing Analysis, during the development of products/processes to optimise supportability during the In-Servicephase of the product lifecycle.
- Defining and coordinating the required resources for the efficient running of ILS functions.
- Development of ILS deliverables in accordance with project requirements (typically ASDEFCON or derivative).
- Participate in project and technical review meetings.
- Implementing ILS policies and strategies.

- Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
- Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modelling
- Task analysis
- Spares analysis
- LSAR construction and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Technical Publication Standards as used by defence.
- Demonstrated experience within defence/defence industry acquisition projects performing LSA, coupled with a tertiary degree in Engineering or significant relevant technical experience.
