... About the role:
This role is responsible for being a business partner for several key portfolios and assisting the management/delivery of up to 30 plus case matters at a time across several different employment streams and divisions.
- Writing discipline correspondence for the public sector
- Preparing correspond for senior delegates (GM-DG)
- Preparing documentation for the Queensland Industrial Relations Committee
- Providing strategic HR advice on performance management, medical management, employee grievances, IME’s, absentee management, discipline, suspension, investigations
- Managing end to end investigation process with external providers, analysing reports and providing advice on investigation reports to delegates and business partners
- Briefing delegates, HR teams on a wide range of case management topics
About the individual:
- Experience in writing discipline correspondence
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in a similar role within the public sector, highly desirable
- Efficient in preparing documentation for the Queensland Industrial Relations Committee
- Knowledge of the PS ACT 2022 and the legislative frameworks of the public sector
- Experience in providing strategic HR advice in a large organistion or government department
- Experience in managing end to end investigation process
- Experience analysing reports and providing advice on investigation reports
- Experience working with internal HR stakeholders in an advisory capacity
