About your new role

Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Location: Blacktown

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential extension

Start date: 2nd of December 2024

End date: 30th May 2024

Salary: $42.93 per hour + Super

Responsibilities include:

• Administer and communicate HR policies, procedures, and documentation effectively across the organization.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies and external legislative changes, providing accurate HR, recruitment, and industrial advice.
• Handle all correspondence and documentation related to HR matters efficiently and appropriately.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing aspects of the Workforce Management Plan, including the annual Employee Development System process.
• Promote and coordinate Council’s recruitment activities to support effective staffing and workforce planning.

What you will need to succeed

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field - Diploma or above and/ or relevant experience inÂ
• human resources, recruitment and employee relations
• Demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills, sound analytical and problem￾solving skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary human resource practices and current issues
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn corporate systems andÂ
• applications
• Current Class C driver’s license.
