Job Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated HSEQ Specialist to support operational excellence initiatives. This role involves enhancing quality management and driving continuous improvement in processes and performance. You will play a key role in managing health, safety, quality, and environmental aspects associated with operations, aligning with industry best practices and compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.

... - Oversee the management of safety documentation and ensure quality checks in accordance with document control procedures in an ISO-certified environment.
- Identify compliance issues and report them accordingly.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and correspondence from various functional departments.
- Monitor HSEQ programs, prepare status reports, and assist with tender documentation.
- Participate in incident investigations, ensuring reports include root cause analysis and lessons learned, which will be uploaded to the database.
- Assist in developing and distributing internal and external Health and Safety Alerts and Incident Management information.
- Foster a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Conduct internal audits of office and vessel operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in external audits and assist in organizing management reviews.
- Monitor fleet HSEQ statistics and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the HSEQ Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Team player with self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or a relevant Marine discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in HSE, particularly in the marine, shipping, or ship repair industries.
- Strong passion for HSE practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with external partners.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Occupational health and safety training with practical experience in HSEQ-related tasks.
- Knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes, incident investigation techniques, and risk management is preferred.
- Qualification as an internal auditor for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 is a plus.
