The HR Manager's Responsibilities:1. General Human Resources•Review and update HR-related standards, policies, and programs to align with business needs and comply with governmental laws and regulations, collaborating with FG Shared Functions as necessary.•Retail: Optimize retail performance by leveraging data to foster a motivated work environment through clear goal-setting initiatives (e.g., KPIs, incentives).•Develop and monitor the annual budget for both office and store operations, including labor costs and other HR-related expenses such as office administration.•Prepare and manage monthly, annual, and ad-hoc reports for submission to the global HQ.•Maintain and update HR systems (e.g., Local and Group HR Database, Time Management Systems) and initiate upgrades as needed.•Collaborate with the FG Payroll team to ensure smooth payroll processing.•Serve as the primary HR contact during internal or external audits.2. Talent Acquisition•Design and implement recruitment strategies that meet business objectives, overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process.•Ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates with the necessary skill sets to fill vacancies effectively.3. Employee Relations•Recommend and implement employee relations practices that foster a positive employer-employee relationship and enhance morale and motivation.•Manage employee communication and feedback mechanisms to identify and address current challenges in attracting and retaining top talent.•Resolve HR-related issues within the organization effectively.4. Organization Development and Performance Management•Lead key processes, including Performance Management Reviews (PCR), talent assessments/succession planning (OMR), and Individual Compensation Reviews (ICR).•Assess the current organizational structure to meet future business demands and drive necessary transformations.•Oversee the implementation of performance improvement strategies.5. Training and Development•Develop organizational training strategies, oversee their implementation, and evaluate outcomes.•Office: Design induction programs for new hires and develop individualized training and development plans based on employee needs and expectations.•Retail: Collaborate with the Retail Team to ensure smooth onboarding processes and support the delivery of necessary training.

Qualifications:
•Educational Background: Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of comprehensive experience in HR activities.
•Preferred Experience: Experience in B2C business is a plus; retail experience is not essential.
•Language Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
•Organizational Agility: Capable of building effective relationships across boundaries to accomplish tasks efficiently. Understands organizational structures and dynamics.
•Strategic Agility: Possesses a high-level perspective of the business, balancing long-term strategic thinking with attention to day-to-day details.
•Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Effectively conveys messages in Japanese and English, achieving the desired impact.
•Problem-Solving: Analyzes and resolves issues proactively and creatively, identifying hidden challenges and providing timely solutions.
•Adaptability: Handles ambiguity with confidence, making decisions and progressing even without complete information.
•Conflict Management: Proactively addresses conflicts, viewing them as opportunities and driving towards effective resolutions.
