ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Partnering• Participate in strategic planning to help the business meet present and future goals.• Develop HR initiatives to support and enhance the growth of the business.• Leverage HR influence by managing and driving company culture with the coordination of key departments in the organization and improving HR Management system.• HR Consultant to the respective Business Areas.Talent Acquisition & Recruitment• Develop clear recruitment processes and procedures, dissemination to key managers involved in recruitment.• Time to time evaluation of the recruitment processes and procedures in the Business Areas.• Labour Relations and Regulations advisor, to ensure rules and regulations are adhered to by all hiring Managers.• Working with respective Department Heads and identifying any open or new positions for replacement or new hire.• Collaborating with the respective Department heads in refining JDs• Negotiate, appoint and collaborate with recruitment firms, headhunters, social networks on recruitment or identifying key talents in partnership with Director of HR, APAC.• Exercise use and management of recruitment platforms applicable for the Japan market.• Oversee the entire recruitment process (interview, selection, offer and written contract) in partnership with the Director of HR for APAC.• Plan and conduct new employee Orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives, adopting the Global format.• Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs working with the respective key stakeholders.• Follow up on budgets for personnel administration/operation working closely with Finance Director.HR Administration(Involving Compensation & Benefits, People Development, Employee Relations Support to the Management Team)• Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.• Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, termination and administering disciplinary procedures.• Advise Department Heads/Managers on organization policy matters.• Analyze and recommend compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.CONFIDENTIAL• Coordinate and manage promotions, annual increase, bonus and incentives in partnership with Corporate HR and Director, HR – APAC.• Manage Pension plans, social benefits and insurances.• Coordinate and Manage yearly Performance Assessment Reviews in partnership with Corporate HR and Director, HR – APAC.• Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administrating contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.• Analyze training needs to recommend and/or design employee development with the respective Department heads.• Maintain records and compile statistical reporting concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals and annual leave.• Management of UKG (HRIS System) for Japan and ensuring data accuracy always.• Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employees’ voluntary termination.• Preparation of all HR communication and letters locally.• Represent organization at personnel-related hearing and investigations, if any• Negotiate recruitment agreements and help interpret labour contracts, consulting legal team as appropriate.• Work closely with the Corporate HR Team and execution of any Global InitiativesOffice/BA Administration• Working and negotiating with the various office vendors, if needed.• Management of Office facilities and seek the necessary support from various Depts.• Supporting retail team in BA administration (recruitment, payroll and any other matters).Payroll• Working with 3rd party vendor to validate and approve payroll including other admin matters.• Submission of payroll matters for both office and retail population.#LI-KN

• Proven working experience as HR and GA Manager or equivalent
• People oriented and results driven
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics, knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
• Knowledge of laws and best practices in HR and GA
• Good English language
