As HR Generalist, you will manage and support the planning and execution for overall HR functions in Japan. You will act as the first point of contact for HR related queries from employees and external partners, building trusted relationships with employees and managers. Key job responsibilities include: HR Operations: Manage HR operations and processes for employees in Japan throughout their employment lifecycle, such as on-boarding, orientation, off-boarding, certificates issuance, leave & attendance record management, commute allowance, benefits administration, visa support, and HR data management via system. HR Policy: Ensure that our HR policies and practices comply with all relevant local laws and regulations, as well as the Group’s internal policies and guidelines. Engagement: Design and execute employee engagement programs and events, including all-staff events, town hall meetings, learning workshops, and recognition initiatives, on a regular and/or ad-hoc basis. Conduct surveys and feedback sessions to measure employee engagement levels and identify areas for improvement to create a positive and inclusive working environment. General Affairs & Workplace Management: Procure, purchase and maintain items/supplies/services needed in the Tokyo office, such as stationery, supplies, refreshments, merchandise, and engagement events related spending. Manage PO/PR process and payments for external agencies and vendors. Work closely with the building community team to manage office access cards, visitors registration and office & insurance contracts related procedures. Internal Communications: Prepare and deliver written and verbal internal communications from People Team and local management as required, via email announcements, company messenger, newsletters, intranet or on-site meetings. Ensure that the staff are timely updated with key topics and announcements. Recruitment: Source for candidates via recruitment platforms, headhunter agencies, referrals and networking. Support recruiters and hiring managers by screening ideal candidates and providing local market insights.
求められる経験
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a multinational start-up company
Native-level Japanese and advanced-level English language skills
Possess knowledge and experience in Japanese labour laws
Have a proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability for critical thinking and analysis
Ability to handle ambiguous situations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
