about the job
As an HR Generalist and Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our commitment to a safe and productive work environment. This position combines human resources responsibilities with essential administrative support, focusing on payroll, labour laws, and employee relations.
In this role, you will manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees. You will also stay up-to-date with labour laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and fostering a fair workplace. Handling employee grievances and facilitating effective communication between staff and management will be crucial to maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include conducting on-boarding sessions, assisting with recruitment efforts, and supporting performance management initiatives. You will also provide administrative support to HR functions, such as maintaining employee records and coordinating training programs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities. A solid understanding of labour laws and HR best practices is essential. You will work collaboratively with various departments, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Must have requirements:
1. Strong Mandarin fluency (all races, genders and ethnicity's welcomed)
2. Strong background in HR generalist functions, payroll, foreign worker management, policy review, employee grievances, handbook review, recruitment.
3. Relevant experience in HR roles, minimum 2-3 years experience
4. Strategic and looking to contribute, ideal candidate is someone who is self motivated and able to work independently.
