Position OverviewThe HR Director will lead the Human Resources function, driving strategic HR initiatives to support business growth while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. This role requires a senior HR professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices in Japan, and the ability to align HR strategies with corporate objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Leadership• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and company culture.• Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on all HR matters, including talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning.• Partner with headquarters and regional teams to ensure alignment with global HR initiatives.Talent Acquisition & Development• Oversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.• Develop and implement talent development programs, succession planning, and leadership training.• Enhance employer branding and employee value proposition to position the company as an employer of choice.Employee Engagement & Culture• Foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture that aligns with company values.• Develop and execute employee engagement programs to enhance morale and productivity.• Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to create a more inclusive work environment.Compensation & Benefits• Design and oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs to attract and retain talent.• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global corporate policies.• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to maintain a competitive edge.HR Operations & Compliance• Oversee all HR operations, including payroll, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.• Implement HR policies and procedures that support business needs and regulatory requirements.• Manage HR data analytics and reporting to drive data-driven decision-making.
求められる経験
• 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership and/or HRBP role in a multinational company, preferably in the retail, hospitality, or luxury industry.
• Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Japanese and Business-Level English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing strategic and operational HR functions.
