Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for strategic partnering? We're seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to provide expert advice and HR services to a key client within the Higher Education/State Government sector.
Position Purpose: You will work closely with an assigned faculty, division, or school to provide high-level HR advice and solutions on a range of complex matters. This role requires a strong understanding of HR policies, legislation, and best practices. Reporting to the Group Manager of HR Business Partnering, you’ll play a pivotal role in achieving the client’s organisational goals while championing values of Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR consulting services to meet organisational objectives.
- Manage complex HR matters and support people management plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve HR processes and policies.
- Conduct external research to ensure HR best practices are met.
- Build strong partnerships with client groups and deliver HR excellence.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in HR or a related field, with extensive experience in HR management.
- Proven ability to deliver HR services in a large, complex environment.
- Deep understanding of HR principles, legislation, and current trends.
- Strong consulting, relationship management, and communication skills.
