PRIMARY OBJECTIVEThe primary objective of this role is to deliver Human Resources support to the Japan business, with a key focus on implementing HR practices that foster business growth. The position serves as a professional HR advisor to employees, acting as their business partner.________________________________________CORE RESPONSIBILITIES1. Recruitment & Staffing•Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate competencies, potential, and cultural alignment.•Collaborate with the business and Talent Acquisition team to develop an annual staffing plan and recruitment strategy.•Ensure job descriptions are accurate and up-to-date for all positions.•Support internal transfers to promote effective cross-functional mobility.•Address staffing challenges, including termination and redundancy, while minimizing legal risks.•Oversee ETS recruitment and manage the recruitment budget.2. Performance Management•Implement performance management practices in line with central and regional company guidelines.•Guide and coach managers through the annual performance management process.•Support managers in addressing performance issues and navigating corrective actions.3. Talent Management & Development•Assist in executing the annual Career Committee to evaluate employees' potential and identify future talent.•Update potential ratings and succession data in the Talent Specialist Desktop for reporting purposes.•Support boutique managers in implementing action plans developed during the Career Committee.4. Compensation & Benefits•Align compensation and benefits practices with regional standards.•Provide employee feedback to the Compensation & Benefits team to improve programs.5. Employee Relations•Support divisional change initiatives by implementing HR strategies.•Facilitate open communication between employees and management to enhance relations.•Collaborate with divisional management to improve working conditions and the environment.•Advise employees at all levels to address and prevent workplace issues.6. HR Administration•Provide data to support the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency.•Assist the HRBP Manager, HR team, and employees with ad-hoc requirements.
求められる経験
• Knowledge of labor law, compensation and benefits, and HR operations, including practical implementation
• Minimum of 1 year of HR experience (e.g., Talent Acquisition, HR Administration)
• Over 5 years of professional work experience, preferably in the retail industry
• Proficiency in Japanese (fluent) and English (business level)
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Intermediate proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
