Responsibilities
Manage Employee Records: Organize and maintain physical and electronic employee personnel records and related documentation.
Support Recruitment Process: Assist with posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting the onboarding process for new hires.
Handle Employee Inquiries: Address HR-related questions from employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
Administer HR Documents: Prepare and administer a variety of HR documents, such as employment contracts, policies, and performance reviews.
Assist Payroll Department: Provide necessary employee data to support payroll, including leave of absence, sick days, and work schedules.
Monitor Compliance: Track and monitor employee training, certifications, and licenses to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
Coordinate Performance Reviews: Support the administration of employee performance evaluations, including quarterly reviews and 30-60-90-day assessments for new hires.
Support HR Projects and Initiatives: Contribute to HR projects, such as training programs, team-building activities, and new benefit initiatives.
Assist with Health and Safety Programs: Administer and enforce health and safety initiatives in accordance with company guidelines.
Maintain HR Systems & Reports: Update HR databases, perform data analysis, and prepare HR metrics reports (e.g., turnover rates) for management.
Qualifications
Education:
A degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience:
1 to 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
Knowledge of Labor Laws:
A thorough understanding of labor laws and employment regulations.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with web-based HR software or HRIS.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
Confidentiality:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure quality and accuracy in all HR-related tasks.
Adaptability:
Ability to adapt to changing work environments and handle competing demands effectively.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently.
