Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Dorset
Salary: £25,015.20 - £27,302.30 (FTE £29,120.00 - £31,782.40)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored learning and emotional support to students, helping them reach their full potential.
- Assist in delivering engaging and dynamic lessons alongside teaching staff.
- Build trusting relationships with students to ensure they feel safe, supported, and involved in their learning journey.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and student welfare in line with school policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
- Experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
- Proven experience in managing challenging behaviours and creating an inclusive learning environment.
