We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Supply History Teacher to join our dynamic team and contribute to the academic success of our students across Leeds, Bradford, Kirklees, Wakefield, and North Yorkshire.
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Supply History Teacher to cover short-term and long-term absences within our partner schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the history curriculum and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective history lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the history curriculum.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students.
- Must currently reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
- Possession of a valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
