Team Leadership: Lead a diverse team of 18-20 pax including 2 Managers, 2 Assistant Managers, and multiple senior developers, overseeing their day-to-day activities, performance, and career development.
Development and Integration: Oversee the development and integration of technologies, with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards to meet business requirements effectively.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic technology initiatives that support business objectives. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the technology division.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Engage with external vendors and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure service level agreements are met.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Implement proactive measures to safeguard data integrity and operational continuity.
Team Development and Culture: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team. Provide mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth to build a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Project Management (Good to have): Direct and coordinate project activities across the division, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Utilize Agile methodologies to optimize project outcomes and team efficiency.
Infrastructure and Security (Good to have): Manage infrastructure and security initiatives, maintaining robust systems and protocols aligned with organizational needs. Leverage cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to enhance scalability, reliability, and security.
requirements
- Minimum 10 years in IT, including 5 years in senior management. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven leadership in technology departments, focusing on development, project management, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Strong technical proficiency guiding teams in microservices, cloud technology (particularly Google Cloud), Java, Spring Boot, and Flutter.
- Possesses TOGAF certification (optional). Demonstrates strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, with a proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of project management, development, integration, infrastructure, and security operations, driving technological advancement and operational efficiency within the organization.
