Our client is a leading player in the freight forwarding sector and is seeking a Head of Sales Manager to lead their LCL team
about the job
As the head of sales, you will be tasked to:
- Oversee the sales team
- Identify opportunities to boost profitability by targeting new customers and enhancing business with existing ones
- Manage the sales territory plan
- Handle tender management
- Establish and communicate ambitious sales targets for the team
- Conduct and participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings to review performance, achieved targets, and future strategies
- Maintain relationships with our principal carriers and key suppliers to support growth initiatives
skills and experience required
- Preferably individual with at least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding handling LCL and lead a team
