Requirements:
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant qualifications in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Experience of teaching French and Spanish GCSE level
- Right to work in the UK - this is essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Must provide 2 proven professional references
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Role and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons, focusing on French and Spanish, across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- To ensure that the strategic objectives of the school are reflected in the work and development of the department and practice of the teachers.
- Ability to model well-planned, engaging and effective lessons for the department
- In depth knowledge of the National Curriculum
- The ability to lead curriculum development and innovation
- Excellent subject knowledge for preferred subject
- Utilising evaluation data to efficiently organise student's next learning steps
- Maintain a well organised, stimulating learning environment
- An understanding of and a commitment to safeguarding students
