In this Head role, you will plan, guide and direct the IT Audit function to provide independent assurance and value-added services in improving the organisation's risk management, governance and internal control processes. If you can think on your feet, adapt to a changes quickly and have a solid understanding of Audit and IT as a whole, you will be a great fit for the role.

You will lead a team of experienced IT Auditors who will conduct independent reviews and report audit observations derived from proper testing and evidences.
skills and experience required
Strategy & Planning
- Develop the IT Audit plan, strategies, standards, policies and manage day to day administration of IT Audit function
- Stay aware of the organisation’s strategy/directions, regulatory landscape, market changes and emerging system implementation risks in order to be able to manage audit coverage and resources effectively
Management of IT Audit and Ad-hoc Assignments

- Participate in and supervise IT Audit assignments as per the developed audit plan
- Evaluate the degree to which the organisations IT system and business operations are in compliance with external requirements including BNM, contractual agreements, laws and regulations
- Develop, maintain and review quality audit programs, audit documentation, and active participation in internal audit continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and/or review audit reports and work papers to ensure proper documentation and work done
- Oversee and provide quality control on IT Audits to ensure IT Audit plan is achieved and professional standards are maintained at all times
- Supervise and ensure timely follow up of outstanding audit recommendations and validation of implemented recommendations to improve controls and processes
- Perform ad-hoc review or any other assignments including investigations when required
- Participate as an observer in critical activities/processes such as BCP/DR testing and disposal of assets when required
- Support Division’s activities as required by Senior Management and/or organisation’s operations
- Ensure timely completion and prompt reporting of audit assignments to the Management and GAC
People Management & Development
- Assist the Head of Department to identify, plan and monitor the manpower and development needs of the unit
- Develop and enhance the competency, skills and knowledge of fellow auditors by providing appropriate training, coaching and ongoing feedback
- Communicate clear and specific performance expectations and measures of success to subordinates; inclusive of explaining business unit goals and results, and how their contributions made a difference
- Provide performance feedback to subordinates and peers (if required)
- Motivate and inspire the team by providing them with the information and tools they need to do their jobs well and meet customer expectations
- Build strong audit relationship with stakeholders with regular interaction
