- Establish and lead a global payroll compliance framework to support operations and business growth.
- Build and manage a global payroll compliance team from the ground up, ensuring its success and scalability.
- Guide payroll processes on employer reporting, withholding obligations, and statutory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll audits and regulator inquiries.
- Mitigate risks by tracking and resolving compliance issues, including complex areas like stock-based compensation and global mobility.
- Develop a continuous learning program to upskill payroll teams.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure GDPR, data security, and broader compliance measures.
- Contribute to company-wide risk management as part of Risk and Governance Committee.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in payroll compliance or a related field, with leadership experience.
- Proven track record of building and scaling new functions or frameworks.
- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced industries, ideally tech.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and leadership.
- Commitment to innovation, process improvement, and automation.
- Home office opportunity - 3 or 4 days per week
