Functional Purpose:
The chartered accountant is responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the company's revenue service.
Key Accountabilities:
Implementation of Accounting Systems- Establishing efficient accounting systems and processes for accurate financial reporting.
Preparation of Financial Statements - Generating Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Cash Flow Statement (CFS), and annual reports for financial transparency.
Cost-saving Measures - Implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Compliance and Tax Management - Ensuring compliance with revenue services, GST, TDS, and replying to notices promptly, contributing to customer trust and regulatory adherence.
Vendor Evaluation - Evaluating vendors, maintaining records of purchased items, and implementing cost-saving measures, indirectly benefiting customers through optimized procurement processes.
Data Management and Reconciliation - Managing Tally entries, modifying entries, and reconciling GST returns and sales data for accurate financial records.
Accounts Expertise - Utilizing expertise in fundraising, debt syndication, project finance, and loan restructuring to streamline internal financial processes.
Records Verification - Verifying log books, expenditures, and stocks internally to streamline processes and avoid discrepancies.
