- Oversee and maintain overall management responsibility for all teams in charge of the university estate and facilities, including domestic services, maintenance services, grounds (including sports grounds), contract services, and customer service and performance
- To lead and implement multi-year plans aligned with the university’s overall strategy, including the upgrade and maintenance plan and environmental sustainability initiatives, while enhancing the performance of operational service teams across estates
- Work closely with academic and professional services colleagues throughout the university to ensure that health, safety, and welfare standards related to the estate and its operations are met
skills and experience required
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Property/Estate Management, Engineering or equivalent
- 10-15 years of experience in managing the whole property function - planned preventative maintenance (PPM), softscaping, repair and projects) in a large-scale property, for example, township, campus or mixed development
- Experienced in managing teams including Mechanical and Engineering, Civil, Softscape services and PPM vendors
