Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to lead the accounting team and oversee all financial operations. This senior position reports directly to the US headquarters and plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of accounting professionalsOversee all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly closing processes and consolidationManage statutory reporting requirements in accordance with Japanese GAAP and US GAAPEnsure compliance with local and international financial regulationsDirect the preparation of financial statements, business metrics, and management reportsCollaborate with US headquarters on group reporting and strategic initiativesImplement and maintain robust internal controlsDrive process improvements and automation initiatives

求められる経験
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, USCPA, or equivalent)
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with 5+ years in management roles
Fluent Japanese and English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong knowledge of both Japanese and US GAAP
Experience in financial services industry is a plus but not a must
Proven leadership abilities and team management experience
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
