JOB DESCRIPTION – HR Head
Job Summary:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in driving the HR strategy and initiatives to support our organization's objectives. With over 20 years of HR generalist experience, including a strong background in the infrastructure sector, you will lead the HR function, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning initiatives.
Employee Relations and Industrial Relations (IR):
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Oversee IR activities, maintaining positive relations with unions and regulatory bodies.
Talent Management and Development:
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Design and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, HRIS management, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Organizational Culture and Engagement:
- Foster a positive organizational culture aligned with the company's values and objectives.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 22 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong background in the infrastructure sector, with a thorough understanding of its unique HR challenges and dynamics.
- Proven experience in managing employee relations and industrial relations matters.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
