Role: Handover Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Handover Manager to join our client, a market leader in the water industry. This position will oversee the handover process for water treatment projects, ensuring the seamless transition of completed projects to the operations and maintenance teams.
As a pivotal figure in our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the handover process, ensuring all project deliverables meet the required standards and that all documentation is complete and accurate.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the handover process, ensuring exceptional quality and completeness of all deliverables
- Implementing handover procedures and protocols throughout all project phases, from initial planning to final handover
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with project teams, clients, and other key stakeholders
- Ensuring adequate preparation for handover, including the compilation of all necessary documentation and certifications
- Overseeing day-to-day handover activities, ensuring all actions align with the Handover Plan
- Preparing and approving detailed handover plans and schedules prior to project completion
- Managing the timely resolution of handover issues, ensuring smooth project close-out
- Monitoring handover progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing handover processes for multi-disciplinary construction projects, preferably within the water industry
- Extensive knowledge of handover procedures and documentation requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage diverse teams
- Familiarity with Construction Contracts, particularly NEC and/or IChemE
- Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
- Previous experience in water and wastewater treatment plants (an advantage)
