Transactions / Deal Support
- Provide transactional and analytical support to acquisitions, fund managers and asset managers on real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, restructuring, financing/refinancing)
- Involve in capital structuring and tax planning for acquisitions & restructuring
- Involve in FDD and tax DD report review, SPA review, NAV negotiation and any other finance related transaction documents review
- Manage the engagement with accounting service provider, auditor, tax agent and other service providers
- Prepare CP/CS documents for financing purpose
- Liaise with the seller and banks on finance related issues
Cooperate Finance and Reporting
- Oversee or ensure the maintenance of accounting records for investment holding entities on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting
- Coordinate the external audit process, managing relationships with auditors effectively
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard company assets
Fund Operations
- Oversee the financial operations of investment funds, including aspects of fund accounting, valuation, and reporting
- Guarantee accurate and timely reporting to investors, enhancing transparency and trust
- Manage relationships with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers, ensuring efficient fund operations
- Implement best practices in fund operations to improve efficiency and control, contributing to the overall success of the fund
Strategic Initiatives
- Actively contribute to strategic planning and the development of financial strategies, aligning financial management with company goals
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis and projections
- Participate in special projects and initiatives, contributing to the company's growth and adaptation to market changes
about the manager/team
You will be joining a lean team with offices within Asia. Given the leaness in the structure, your ability to work independently and with ownership will be important to suceed in this position.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance related; CA/ACCA/CPA qualified
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
- Good consolidation & group reporting experience
- Prior audit experience and experience in real estate industry a preference, but not a must
- Competent in financial reporting and accounting standards
- Organized and meticulous and yet inquisitive and competent
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds including liaising with JV partners, asset manager, outsource agents, bankers, auditors and consultants
- Language proficiency in Hindi or related dialects to communicate with stakeholders in India would be advantageous
