Purpose Of The Job And AccountabilitiesStrategic Leadership・Provide strategic leadership to the Japan marketing team in Companion Animals.・Develop short to long-term portfolio marketing strategies, ensuring customer centricity and alignment with the company's vision and mission.・Communicate goals and objectives across the team and key stakeholders.・Portfolio (product/channel) Management & Campaign /Launch planning・Deliver activation plans for the subsequent year・Implement new and/or update existing communication/branding positioning for the portfolio.・Ensure strong and successful launch plans for new products, services or channels, along with existing product lifecycle management. Execution excellence・Track, measure, and report on net sales and in-market sales of each brand versus competitors for continuous improvement and innovation.・Ensure excellence in the execution of portfolio and brand strategies, aligned with regional and global teams. Team Management:・Manage a team of marketing professionals (non-line manager and staff level), fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.・Provide guidance on career development, skill enhancement, and talent attraction/retention.Implement effective communication and coordination within the team and other ・departments.・Be a central source and focal point of expertise, information, and support for brands and business initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement・Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, global teams, and external partners.・Represent us with business partners, academic institutions, industry stakeholders, and Key Opinion Leaders in the veterinary world.Budget Management:・Manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation to achieve strategic objectives.・Monitor and control expenditures, evaluate cost-effectiveness, and recommend adjustments as needed.・Market research and business intelligence・Manage research to better understand the target audience and market trends.・Optimize the use of support data generated at regional and local levels.・Lead local research and studies ・Ensure integration with the "new organization" after Go-to-Market, collaborating with other departments to achieve company objectivesMedia and Creative Management:・Deliver efficient media and creative management to increase brand awareness and improve customer and consumer engagement and loyalty by leading the relationship with the agencies; Event and Sponsorship・Identify and analyse event and sponsorship proposals, participating in and sponsoring the best opportunities related to the current portfolio and pipeline.InterfacesBIAH Leadership Team, Sales, Technical Services, Commercial Excellence, Supply, R&D, QA, BI Finance, BI Procurement, Corporate affairs, Global Marketing, Global commercial teams, outside distributors, vendors and agencies, etc..
求められる経験
・Leadership: Minimum 3 year experience in leading team and ability to inspire and motivate team members fostering a collaborative and inclusive team mindset;
・Proven working experience as brand manager and ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and action plans
・Customer centric mindset
・Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
・Efficient verbal and written communication skills
・Fluent Business Japanese (N1)
・Fluent English (read, write, speak and listen)
・Excellent understanding of marketing process, with latest trends(eg digital marketing) and marketing best practices
・Experience in product/brand marketing in animal health industry, human health care, human pharma is preferred
・Experience with different channels is valued
・Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to senior management and other section heads
・Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and database applications.
・Ability to travel (may include overnight travel)
・Budget management
・Project management
・Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
