Job Description:
A leading construction company in Croydon is seeking an experienced Groundworker to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various groundworks projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of groundworks, including drainage, concreting, kerbing, and paving.
- Safely operate equipment such as diggers, dumpers, and rollers.
- Assist with site preparation and ensure that all groundwork tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Knowledge of all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, and paving.
- Ability to operate machinery such as diggers and dumpers.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Location: This position is based in Croydon, with work primarily focused on local projects.
