Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting and Reporting
... - Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to HQ finance by the 16th of the month, including detailed performance analysis of Estate & Mill Divisions.
- Review monthly actual results and prepare variance reports comparing actual results to the budget.
- Manage Plasma accounts, providing detailed Income and Expenditure statements.
- Report all financial-related matters to Corporate Finance HQ.
- Report all operational matters to the Operation Director.
- Prepare monthly Cash Flow forecasts by the 5th of the month, detailing estimated incoming funds and expenses.
- Manage the company's cash flow and place any surplus funds in Fixed Deposit accounts.
- Coordinate with bankers for forex currency purchase and funding.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of Company Audited Account and alignment with Group Audited Account submission dates.
- Prepare supporting information for the annual audit and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Group Internal Audit at HQ regarding any internal control issues and improvements.
- Lead, direct, and evaluate the performance of department team members.
2. Tax Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Indonesia, including Pph and Ppn.
- Review company tax administration and filing documents periodically.
- Coordinate with local tax consultants and authorities on any tax dispute issues, such as objections and appeals, and attend tax court hearings if necessary.
- Liaise with tax agents for annual tax return review and submission.
3. Budget Preparation
- Prepare the Annual Budget with detailed breakdowns for Estate & Mill Divisions.
- Coordinate with the Operation Director and divisional heads for the preparation of budgets for operational plans and monitoring.
4. Procurement, IT, and Inventory
- Manage, source, and monitor procurement processes and maintain/control stock inventory.
- Maintain and monitor stock counts and variance reports.
- Manage local suppliers, ensuring proper quotations and approvals for all purchases.
- Manage local contractors for various contracts (e.g., construction, field maintenance) to ensure compliance with SOPs and competitive pricing.
- Monitor progress of contracted work before arranging payment for completed work.
- Manage the integrated accounting system, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventories, and payroll modules.
5. Operations Support
- Assist the Operation Director in monitoring daily Estate operations, including upkeep and harvesting, ensuring adherence to the budget.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for HQ, analyzing actual operational costs against the budget.
- Supervise payroll clerks to ensure accurate updates for all estate workers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in the plantation or agricultural industry.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Proven experience in budget preparation, procurement, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and integrated financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
