Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager for Corporate Finance and Investor Relations to lead all financial strategy, fundraising, and investor engagement activities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial direction, driving corporate growth initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Finance
- Develop and execute the company’s corporate finance strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- Oversee capital raising initiatives, including debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, to support business growth and expansion plans.
- Evaluate and recommend potential mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, conducting due diligence and financial modeling.
- Manage financial structuring and optimization to maintain an efficient capital structure.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial materials for board meetings and strategic decision-making.
Investor Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and rating agencies, ensuring transparent and consistent communication.
- Develop and implement an effective investor relations strategy to enhance the company’s market perception and shareholder value.
- Organize and participate in investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and earnings calls.
- Prepare and oversee the release of financial reports, investor presentations, and press releases.
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and shareholder activities to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate finance and investor relations teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure cohesive execution of corporate strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investment banks, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or investor relations, preferably within the property development or real estate sector.
- Proven track record in capital markets, fundraising, and managing relationships with institutional investors.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
