Some of the responsibilities involved in this position are:
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Plan and deliver dynamic, hands-on geography lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students.
- Foster a love for geography and exploration, encouraging students to investigate and analyse the world around them.
- Contribute to the design and development of an innovative geography curriculum that emphasises global perspectives and environmental awareness.
- Lead and participate in geography-related extracurricular activities, field trips, and clubs.
The following qualifications &skills are required to work as a geography teacher:
- Outstanding communication skills and inter-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- 2 proven professional references
- Establish strict guidelines for pupil's behaviour
- Possess a strong enthusiasm for instructing and the ability to organise and present engaging classes.
- Flexibility and adaptability are necessary to function in many educational settings.
- Strong familiarity with curricular standards, teaching strategies, and geographic material.
