Main responsibilities:
Ensure management of AGBS general accounting team.
Guarantees tasks completion of the general accounting process (fixed assets, payroll and travail entries integration,...) for legal entities located in North America (US / Canada) in a first step and contributes to the elaboration of relevant Financial Statements
Ensures compliance with the legal regulations (IFRS), the accounting rules and the internal controls, following the standards and procedures defined by the Group experts and process managers.
Defines the accounting structure and principles for general accounting and other financial and administrative transactions related to the process
Responsible for harmonization of processes between the different legal entities of the scope.
Proposes and implements continuous improvement actions on the process and systems.
Customer service and relationship:
Build and sustain a robust relationship with “customers”
Work in close collaboration with “customers” to identify and implement solutions for problems encountered on a daily basis and according to customer time schedule
Promote adherence to business rules in accordance with the standard Airbus processes and policies
Project management
Ensure implementation of SAP system enhancements and other financial tools that enhance operational effectiveness
Provide guidance on Accounting methodology
Ensure implementation compliance, segregation of duties and internal controls rules
Support the Group Head of Accounting and other Finance departments in special projects
Actively participate to trans-functional / trans-national projects and tools supporting the given process
