Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it functions correctly.
- Set up and operate fusion welding machines and tools.
- Ensure all welding work adheres to quality standards and specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures consistently.
- Work with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any welding problems that occur.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to work out of town for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic.
- Proven experience as a Fusion Welder, specializing in McElroy fusion machines.
- Thorough understanding of fusion welding techniques and best practices.
- Capable of reading and understanding technical documents and blueprints.
- Exceptional focus on detail and quality assurance.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for welding tasks.
- Preferred certifications or training in fusion welding.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Possesses mechanical aptitude.
