We are seeking a skilled Plastic Fusion Technician with experience using McElroy fusion machines to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a background in HDPE plastic fusion techniques and the motivation to learn new skills.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Set up and operate McElroy fusion welding equipment***
- Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must drive and have a clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to work out of town for periods of time when needed and in a warehouse otherwise
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Proven experience as a Plastic Fusion Welder, specifically using McElroy fusion machines.
- Knowledge of fusion welding techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eye to detail
- Mechanically inclined
