Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Plan and teach engaging lessons in Food Technology, incorporating both theory and hands-on practical activities.
- Curriculum Development: Ensure lessons meet curriculum requirements and are tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Student Assessment: Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage development.
- Health & Safety Oversight: Maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Pastoral Care: Support student's personal development, welfare, and progress within a positive classroom environment.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
- Specialisation: Background in Food Technology or related subject.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience at the secondary level is highly desirable.
- Passion for Teaching: A commitment to inspiring and engaging students in the subject.
- Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management effectively.
- Communication Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
