The role
This role will be very autonomous and, varied, so, our client is seeking someone who enjoys new challenges and managing their own time with a variety of tasks.
- Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair all equipment as required
- Respond to breakdowns
- Adjust ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance
- Read fabricate and assemble engineering drawings with close tolerance components
Core hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Monday to Friday) On call after hours during the week and on weekends
What you need
Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a high volume production environment. You will need to be safety focused, physically fit and able to complete manual tasks.
- FMCG manufacturing experience
- Experience working with pneumatic systems
- Experience in Arc and MIG welding
- Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdowns
- Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Strong communication skills
- High level of initiative and a ‘can do' attitude
