About the job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the monthly consolidation of accounts using Hyperion for both group and regional subsidiaries under US GAAP. Your responsibilities will extend to assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual group reports and financial statements to ensure compliance. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with auditors, legal counsels, group M&A, and regional finance teams, offering valuable accounting support and contributing to the ongoing development of group accounting policies. Your tasks will also involve preparing and reviewing technical accounting documentation, implementing and enhancing SOX controls and business processes, and taking on various ad-hoc projects such as internal group restructuring, M&A activities, and the adoption of new accounting standards. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about continuous improvement in business and finance processes and has a sharp analytical mindset.
Skills and experience required
Candidates should possess a recognized degree in accounting/finance or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in Big4 audit. We also encourage individuals with Big4 audit experience who are looking to transition into a commercial setting to apply.
