Must have:
- Hardships/ Financial Assistance Experience (Mortgage or Asset Finance)
- Analytical skills to identify early indicators of financial distress.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated understanding of current ASIC Debt Collections Guidelines, NCCP, Privacy Act, APRA APS 220 and COBCOP as well as IDR and EDR processes.

Your new role
The Proactive Hardship Management Administrator will be responsible for identifying early signs of financial stress among customers, analysing account data, and supporting the development of proactive outreach strategies. This role ensures timely interventions, reducing the risk of financial hardship and improving customer outcomes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Data Analysis and Monitoring:
- Analyse customer accounts to identify early indicators of financial distress,such as payment delays or usage of savings buffers.
- Generate regular reports highlighting at-risk customers for further review.
- Proactive Engagement:
- Support the Financial Assistance team in contacting at-risk customers,providing tailored solutions to prevent financial hardship.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes.
- Process Support:
- Assist in implementing new processes for proactive hardship management.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of proactive strategies.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Contribute to periodic reports on proactive hardship outcomes and trends.
Your skills and experience
- Experience in financial hardship or financial services in a similar customer focused environment is preferred.
- Analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience reporting and record keeping.
- Familiarity with hardship or collections processes is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A thorough understanding of the hardship application process.
- Experience in a role that is multi-tasked and requires quick and decisive action
- Ability to work as part of a team.
