Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst, your duties will include but not be limited to:
●Processing accounting for the Individual Wealth and Segregated Funds line of business
●Preparing journal entries and payment (EFT/Wires/Bank Transfers)
●Managing preparation of investment management fee statements for fund companies
●Supporting business area’s month-end close process
●Reconciliations of monthly account
●Vendor feeding to general ledger
●Providing quarterly trending analysis on key accounts
●Assisting in the preparation of quarterly reporting packages and presentations for senior management and Board of Directors
Qualifications
●2 – 3 years of Accounting and Financial Reporting experience (reconciliation, audit, reporting etc.)
●Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
●Actively pursuing or successfully completed a professional accounting designation (CPA)
●Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks or projects simultaneously in a fast -paced environment
●High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
●Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
●Advance Microsoft Excel skills
●Experience or knowledge of Individual Wealth or the insurance industry
●Experience working with large data sets focusing on summarizing, extracting, and reconciling data
●Experience with SAP ledger, SAP Analysis for Office (AFO), EFDW (Enterprise Finance Data Warehouse) and Tableau
