Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst - Business Valuation, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct detailed company valuations using various methodologies
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the current and future performance of target companies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support management's strategic decisions regarding mergers and acquisitions, investments, and other growth initiatives.
- Collect, analyze and interpret financial data to provide accurate reports and recommendations.
- Track market trends, competitor performance, and economic developments to inform company valuations and strategies.
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or CFA designation, a major asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or in a similar role within a large company or consulting firm.
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools, financial management software, and financial databases.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and an ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Bilingualism (English and French) written and oral
