A global financial services provider is looking to hire a Financial Accountant for their Tokyo Office. This financial services firm provides services in private banking, investment management, and investor services to high-net-worth individuals and institutionsAs a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements, and tax filing.RESPONSIBILITIES:General Accounting & Regulatory Reporting : - Maintains the accounting records and financial information- Prepares, reconciles, and analyzes the general ledger- Works for reporting requirements and guidelines of applicable regulatory agencies to maintain records and prepare required financial reports- Prepares journal entries for posting, ledgers and other accounting records- Process accounts payable including reimbursement to staff and payments to vendors- Work with external professionals for auditing Financial Reporting and Risk Control- Provides financial analysis and maintains accurate accounting records to support team function- Generate internal and external financial reports such as monthly, quarterly and annual reports- Prepares special accounting reports for team leader and accounting manager- Supports and works within firm-wide risk assessment standardsTax : - Prepare for the necessary information for a tax filing- Work with external professionals for tax Accounting Policy

求められる経験
- BA/BS degree
- 3-5 years of accounting
- Experience in financial industry is plus
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting
- Strong computer and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Japanese and English
- Book-Keeping 2nd grade or equivalent
