Job Responsibilities
1. Tax Management:
• Ensure compliance with Mexican tax regulations and handle tax filings, tracking, and resolution of tax-related matters.
• Communicate with local tax authorities to ensure adherence to Mexican tax laws and regulations.
2. Financial Digitalization Compliance:
• Assist the headquarters in ensuring that the digital financial system complies with Mexican legal and tax requirements.
• Participate in the localization and launch of cloud-based financial systems for the local market.
3. Financial Supervision and Compliance:
• Supervise the accuracy and timeliness of local financial data and assist the headquarters in monitoring financial processes.
• Ensure that local financial reporting meets the requirements of the headquarters and provide regular financial statements and data analysis to the headquarter’s finance department.
4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
• Collaborate with local business, procurement, sales, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational activities.
5. Support for Local Business Development:
• Provide financial support and advice to ensure that business development is aligned with financial compliance.
• Assist local management in interpreting financial data and providing recommendations to support business decisions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager role, preferably in an multi-national company.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with digital financial systems and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to the role.
