about the job
Reporting to the Finance Controller, your initial task will be to catch up on the backlog audits whilst managing group consolidation, month end closing and financial reporting according to statutory and corporate standards. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in financial regulatory standards, you will be the go-to-person to advise on technical accounting and liaise with external agents on tax and audit matters. Additionally, you will be involved in management reporting and cashflow management activities.You will drive improvement projects to optimize work flow, systems and processes.
skills and experience required
You should ideally be degree qualified and CA qualified with at least 4 years of external audit experience. You possess strong technical accounting knowledge and are comfortable to handle backlog audits. You are a strong team player and communicative, dynamic and adaptable to a fast paced and diverse environment. You can look forward to being part of a cohesive and forward looking company culture.
