The Finance Director will provide strategic financial support and business partnering to the Managing Director within an ever-evolving market and rapidly growing organisation. This is a hands-on role: the Finance Director will both “do” and manage team members that perform day to day accounting and administrative tasks, including invoicing and cash flow related activities, manage financial risks, manage financial reporting and communication with clients.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral:●Manage all aspects of invoicing and cash flow activities throughout the project lifecycle●Provide support as necessary for monthly financial reporting●Prepare and/or review client requested financial reporting●Develop, implement, monitor and report on internal controls and processes when necessary●Closeout all projects, expediting postings, transfers and final close in the system●Support requests from other departments/locations●Drive cost savings/efficiencies; identify ways to improve account profitability●Main point of contact for client audits●Develop robust forecast models to drive greater visibility and efficiency for resource planning and utilisationSupport Managing Director :●Support with business growth●Enforce team financial accountability●Forecasting (CRM, Sales, Entity & Client P&L)●Collaborate & support Internal audits for accuracy and consistency●Provide client profitability analysisFinance Team Management : ●Manage a local finance team, providing leadership and coordination of activities to support the businessAbout you●You love interacting with people.
