About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Female PE Teacher to join one of our vibrant secondary schools in Leeds. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons, promote physical well-being, and inspire a love of sport among students.

What We're Looking For:
...- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification- applications from UPS candidates will be considered
- Proven experience teaching PE in secondary schools.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- In-depth understanding of the Physical Education curriculum.

- Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Promote participation in sports and physical activities, both in school and after hours.
- Plan and lead extra-curricular activities, including clubs and team sports.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development.
- Ensure the highest health and safety standards in all physical activities, prioritising student welfare.
- Encourage teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship through varied physical activities.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their overall well-being.
- Contribute to the promotion of mental health and well-being through sport.
- Engage in professional development and reflect on teaching strategies for continuous improvement.
- Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour and respect within the learning environment.
